What’s a “CSA”?

A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a way for you to get fresh, local produce straight from the farm. By becoming a member, you receive a weekly share of freshly harvested vegetables throughout the growing season.

Open CSA Sessions

Spring CSA Session

April 12th- May 17th (6 Weeks)

The Spring session focuses on early-season crops that thrive in cooler weather. Expect a variety of fresh greens, root vegetables, and other early harvests.

Summer CSA Session

May 31st- October 11th (20 Weeks)

The Summer session brings a wide variety of peak-season produce, including cruciferous vegetables, hardy greens, fresh herbs, and summer staples.

How Does It Work?

Each week, you’ll receive a pre-packed share of fresh, naturally grown vegetables from my farm. The contents change with the seasons, ensuring you get the best of what’s available at that time.

Each week, members pick up their pre-packed share at the La Plata Farmers Market on Saturdays between 9 AM and 2 PM. When you arrive, simply check your name off the pickup list and take your share—everything will be ready to go.

For the Summer session, an alternative pickup will be available on Sundays in either White Plains or Port Tobacco around noon.

✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • Unlike many CSAs that act as aggregators, I grow everything myself. This was the original intent of a CSA - directly supporting a farm, not a distribution hub. If I ever need to source outside produce due to crop failure, it will come from trusted local farms.

    • Spring CSA: You can skip 1 week with notice, and I’ll add extra produce to your next share.

    • Summer CSA: You can skip up to 2 weeks with notice and receive extra produce when you return.

    • If you can’t make it, you can also send someone else to pick up for you- just let me know in advance.

  • Yes! CSA members receive a 10% discount on additional purchases at my market stand. You can also add extra produce to your weekly share by reaching out and it will be packed up and ready when you arrive for pickup

  • Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds after a payment is made. The CSA model is based on shared commitment between the farm and its members. Your payment helps cover the upfront costs of seeds, labor, and supplies needed to grow your food throughout the season. Since crops are planted and harvested with CSA members in mind, refunds aren't possible. However, you are welcome to transfer your share to someone else you know who may want it, or have it donated.
